[Year In Review] Most Anticipated Album of 2013 – Artist Picks

We’ve already looked at what several artists viewed as their top album(s) of the year:  http://hiphopauthority.com/year-in-review-2012-hip-hop-album-of-the-year-artist-picks/.  Now we are taking it to 2013, as we ask what each head is looking forward to most in 2013.  Here you’ll hear the official titles of new albums from Copywrite, O.C. & Ray West, Zion I + Grouch & Eligh, Gense Dean & Planet Asia, Blockhead & Illogic, and many more.  2013 is looking to be another strong year musically, and here is why:

A.G.: O.C. & Ray West – Rays Cafe

Amp Live (Zion I): new G & E record!!

Blockhead: Because I haven’t checked what’s coming soon, I’ll just say all the albums I’m working on!

Bronze Nazareth: Not really sure of my most anticipated…but Im eager to see what 50 and Em are gonna do, also the New Ghostface…Wally Era, gotta see what else is dropping but for now Ima go with that.

Constant Deviants: Any SIX2SIX Records artist(s) related LP (hahaha)

Copywrite: Bloodbath & Beyond (my next solo).

DJ Toure’: My most anticipated album of 2013 is the Detox

Dom P: Nico the Beast – H.O.M.E.

Double AB: My most anticipated album of 2013 might be Roc Marciano’s next project. I really like his gritty wordplay and lo-fi production—it evokes the classic era of hip hop without straight mimicking that 90′s sound.

Dub Sonata: G.O.O.D. Music – Cruel Winter

Full|REBEL|Jacket:

Q – Kanye West

G – Cruel Winter

Illogic: Besides my own (Capture The Sun Illogic & Blockhead) anything that Open Mike Eagle does…

Jai Natai Lotus: D’Angelo’s …been waiting but I’m not mad. I am grateful for what his given us so far. I’m tryin to be less selfish as a fan, and more grateful.

J-Zone: If Mystikal has an album coming, that’s what I wanna hear! Or if Suga Free has something dropping that’d be dope.

Kenyettah Black: I’m looking forward to Black Voltron from CrimsonGodz.

Kimani of Masterminds: The National (LP6) – they dont have a title yet

Lateef (Latyrx): Other that the Second Latyrx album?  The new Blackalicious LP

Mello Music Group: Looking forward to Gensu Dean & Planet Asia Abrasions in 2013

Sum: A three way tie between Earl Sweatshirt, Atoms For Peace and Yamin Semali’s debut projects.

Zumbi (Zion I): ZG&E (Zion I, the Grouch & Eligh)
